Taunusstein has about 30,000 inhabitants and is the largest town in the Rheingau-Taunus District and can truly be called a ‘greenbelt town’ because more than 52% of the 67 square kilometres of the town area is covered with woods.
Living in Taunusstein means variety in ten quarters.
Whether Bleidenstadt, Hahn, Hambach, Neuhof, Niederlibbach, Orlen, Seitzenhahn, Watzhahn, Wehen or Wingsbach – each quarter has its own profile and its own charm. There is a remarkable cultural, recreational and leisure activities offer in each quarter.
The individual quarters have developed over generations and have made Taunusstein today a town that is characterised by the co-existence of people and nature. We simply call that: Taunusstein has got it all!
